Melissa Geis

Melissa Geis is an associate attorney at Campbell Huber, PLLC, where she focuses her practice on medical malpractice and healthcare liability defense. She enjoys representing physicians and nurses who dedicate their careers to serving patients and their communities.

Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she served as an editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. During law school, she gained experience through internships with a federal judge, a United States Senator and the Colorado Attorney General's Office.

Before joining Campbell Huber, Melissa served as a prosecutor with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, where she became chief of a misdemeanor court. She participated in nine jury trials and more than 30 contested hearings while managing a docket of approximately 1,500 cases.

Outside the office, Melissa enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, watching movies and spending time with her husband. A former college softball player, she remains an avid sports fan and a Minnesota Vikings season-ticket holder.
