Casey C. Campbell
Managing Member
Casey C. Campbell is the Managing Member and co-founder of Campbell Huber, PLLC, where he leads a practice dedicated to defending healthcare professionals, employers, and businesses in high-stakes litigation. With a background in emergency medicine and a reputation as a fierce but principled advocate, Casey is known for protecting the reputations, careers, and livelihoods of those who dedicate their professional talents to the healing and service of others.
Casey earned his B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2004, followed by a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008. He also holds a Certificate in Business, Government, and Public Policy from Georgetown University, and previously served for nearly a decade as an emergency medical technician — experience that uniquely informs his medical-legal perspective.
Casey began his legal career in 2009 at Schell Cooley LLP, being mentored by legendary Texas trial lawyers and medical malpractice defense experts – Russ Schell and Susan Cooley. Casey worked his way to partner and eventually name partner at Schell Cooley Campbell LLP before co-founding Campbell Huber, PLLC in 2025. His litigation practice spans medical malpractice defense, products liability, non-subscriber injury claims, auto liability, and commercial disputes. His clients include hospitals, physicians, EMTs, product manufacturers, and employers across Texas and beyond.
He has been recognized as a Texas Lawyer Rising Star, named to D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas, and honored as one of America’s Top 100 Medical Malpractice Litigators. In 2012, he was awarded Texas Nurses Association’s Consumer of the Year for his work supporting and defending the nursing profession.
What drives Casey is his passion for standing up for professionals who dedicate their lives to healing. “We protect the reputations and careers of individuals who have dedicated their professional lives to the wellness of others,” he says — and his practice reflects that commitment.
Outside the courtroom, Casey spends his time with his wife, their daughter (the world’s most beautiful, according to dad), and the firm’s beloved office mascot, Sarge. A true adventurer at heart, he’s run with the bulls in Pamplona, gone skydiving (twice), completed the Cannonball Run, and rappelled through a waterfall — all in search of new perspectives and better stories.
